Mayella Ewell and Bob Ewell
*The Ewell family is very low on the social ladder of maycomb. They live by the town dump and near the African Americans. They are very poor and described as trash. Bob Ewell is said to spend all of his money at the bar rather than on his 8 children, one of them being Mayella. Mayella is nineteen and seems to be very lonely. Mayella and her Father accused Tom Robinson of raping Mayella. They had barely any evidence but still the jury declared Tom Robinson guilty.
* Mayella Ewell and Bob Ewell were both very poor and disresepected by the people of Maycomb. After she accused Tom, then other white people in maycomb started gaining respect for them and tried to protect them. They went against their social prejudice by people thinking of them as equals rather than trash.
*The Ewells were the lowest part of the social ladder. The lived by the dump, had few friends and Mr. Ewell was a mean man. Him and his daughter Mayella accused Tom of rape so they would get attention.

This is Bob Ewell on the stand as Atticus questions him.
This shows The Ewells because they lie and they're evil.
